Chalet Mowgli is a high quality chalet located on the south facing slopes of the valley in the much sought after les Moussoux area of Chamonix. The sunny position offers commanding panoramic views of Mont Blanc and the surrounding peaks.
Internally, the chalet has been finished to a high standard using a combination of traditional timbers and modern fittings. It sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms over 3 floors.
The ground floor was originally developed as a self-contained apartment and comprises a living area with kitchen, 2 bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin) and a shower room. Stairs lead up to the first floor level, which is the main living area with a good sized lounge wrapping round the large fireplace, a dining area and a large kitchen. There is also a small study room off the lounge. On the top floor is the master bedroom with ensuite bathroom (with bath and shower), second bedroom (double) and separate bathroom. The master bedroom has a double bed as well as a single bed, giving the option for a couple plus child or 2 singles.
Les Moussoux is to the north-west of the town centre, about a 10 minute walk to the main square. It is also a short walk to Plan Praz, the lifts leading to the Brévent ski area. |
