Husky rides for the little ones or even for the "Big kids"

What better way to give the kids (and even the big kids) a treat on their days off from skiing, than racing along the snow with the Huskies. 

Pack them off head to toe in warm clothes, gloves, sunnies, and a good pair of hiking/snowboarding shoes (afraid the designer Uggs will have to be left at home, no moonboots’ allowed!) and send them on a 30 minute adventure through the scenic routes of Le Tour, at the bottom of La Vormaine ski area. 

An Adult must accompany children under the age of 8, minimum age 3 years old.

1 or 2 children in the same sledge @ 80 euros

Children sitting on the sledge will be supplied a blanket, but it is advised to keep your children wrapped up nice and cosy to keep them warm during the adventure.

NB.The adult can share the sledge with the child if the total weight is not more than 80kg. Otherwise the adult has to drive the sledge and the child will ride in the musher’s sledge.

Or if you adults think you would like to have a go at being a "Musher" yourself, you will be given a brief on how to drive a sledge and then ride off with your own team of Huskies for a 45 mins ride @ 69euros pp. Please note that you need to have a reasonable level of fitness as you will be jogging alongside the huskies to help them get going and share in the fun.

Meeting point at the bottom of La Vormaine ski area, Le Tour, available every Wednesday from mid December to the end of March.

Husky Sledding Evening

Spend a memorable evening driving your own team of huskies by twilight! You’ll be introduced to the dogs and shown how to control the sled before hitching up & setting off around tranquil alpine paths. Each person has their own head-torch, sled & team of huskies to manage during the half hour tour which finishes with a well earned meal in the warmth of a local restaurant. Price includes transport, husky coaching, aperitif, dinner and coffee.

Husky and Helicopter Day

Get away from the Chamonix Valley for a once in a lifetime husky and helicopter experience, a perfect idea for those non-skiing days. Heading to the neighbouring resort of Les Carroz for lunch, you’ll meet our Husky experts and be shown how to handle your own husky team and sledge. After cruising the wooded paths on snowy tracks, warm up with a welcome hot drink before mounting your private helicopter for the wonderful flight back to Chamonix, the rays of winter sun lighting the Mont Blanc to guide you home.

Price includes all transport, mountain lunch, husky experience, hot drinks and helicopter flight.
