Private ski lessons give you the specific focus that you need: great for fine-tuning technique or even progressing quickly from scratch.

Mountain Base works closely with the Ecole du Ski Français (ESF) in Chamonix to help you improve. ESF are part of the largest ski school in the world with 2,000,000 pupils taking 800,000 tests every year.

With a private instructor you have much greater influence over what you want to focus on as well as where you ski each day. And as your instructor will know what the snow conditions are in different areas, you can be sure that you’ll have the best possible ski lesson.

Private ski lessons are tailored to meet your specific needs - whether you want to fine hone your carving technique, improve your powder turns or iron out any bad habits.

Private ski lessons are perfect for people who've already mastered the basics and want to benefit from one-to-one tuition with their own personal instructor. You'll find that you improve at a much faster rate than in a group!

Handy Hints from Mountain Base:
  • ESF offer ski lessons for everyone - they can provide equipment and specially trained ski instructors for children and adults with disabilities.
  • Please specify your requirements and aims when booking, so we can handpick the right instructor for you
